A Danish MEP unleashed an expletive rant at President Trump over his proposal to buy Greenland. Anders Vistisen told Trump to f*** off, after the president reiterated his plan to take over the Danish territory. Trump set hares running by refusing to rule out military force to take control of Greenland from Denmark, a Nato ally and EU member, and has also threatened to wrest the Panama Canal from Panama unless the US can oversee it. Canadians do not know quite what to make of his persistent talk of making their country a US state. Mexico — which is bracing for a war on drugs, migrants and trade — was blindsided by Trump’s insistence he would rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. Trump will overturn Biden’s executive order announced on Tuesday ending Cuba’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism. He is likely to pull out of some international agreements and bodies, including the World Health Organisation, which Biden rejoined on his first day in office after Trump’s first-term withdrawal.
