President-elect Donald Trump's interest in taking over Greenland was dismissed by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a press conference in Paris, France. "The idea expressed about Greenland is obviously not a good one. But maybe more important, it's obviously one that's not going to happen," Blinken said. "So, we probably shouldn't waste a lot of time talking about (it)." Likewise, officials from Denmark and Greenland also dismissed the idea, with Greeland's Finance Minister noting the island is note for sale. "Greenland belongs to the Greenlandic people, and it is us in Greenland who will come to decide on our future," Erik Jensen said.
