The students had just left when we surprised this teacher with an incredible gift from a Secret Santa
Published atA local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out.
Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are surprising a teacher named Christy in Rigby.
She has been teaching for nearly 30 years and has been through a lot without ever complaining. f
Christy’s husband suffered a major heart attack almost five years ago and they have continued to face medical issues since then. Currently, they are having major car issues. One of their cars recently died and they had to get towed 14 miles home.
They have two other cars but the heat isn’t working in one and the other keeps having other issues. She has a daughter and grandkids that live in Utah that she tries to visit often but can’t without a reliable car. Her daughter in Utah is expecting another baby in April and she would love to be there to see her new grandchild and help her daughter and her family.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves if we could pay Christy a visit with an early Christmas gift. Check out the video in the player above!
