AN UPSTATE TEEN REMAINS HOSPITALIZED THIS MORNING AFTER HE WAS STRUCK BY A TRUCK WHILE ON THE JOB IN PARLIER WORKS AT THE INGLES ON HIGHWAY 178, IN PICKENS. POLICE SAY HE WAS HIT MONDAY AFTERNOON WHILE TRYING TO GRAB A SHOPPING CART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD NEAR WENDY’S. HIS MOTHER POSTED ON FACEBOOK. AIDEN IS NOW BREATHING ON HIS OWN, BUT HE DOES HAVE A LIGAMENT STRAIN IN HIS NECK THAT WILL CAUSE HIM TO WEAR A NECK BRACE FOR THE NEXT 1 TO 2 MONTHS. PICKENS POLICE CHIEF SAYS WHAT HAPPENED IS UNFORTUNATE, BUT NO ONE IS AT FAULT. HE SAID NO CHARGES ARE EXPECTED TO BE FILED AT THIS TIME. AT 645 RIGHT NOW, A BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF ANDERSON. CREWS ARE WORKING TO FIX A WATER MAIN BREAK ON VISTA TRAIL IN HOMELAND PARK. THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY IMPACTS VISTA, DEERWOOD AND WOOD CONE TRAILS, AS WELL AS CORNING STREET HOMELAND PARK WATER AND SEWER IS ASKING CUSTOMERS THERE TO BOIL THEIR WATER FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE USING IT. SO FAR, THERE’S NO TIMELINE FOR HOW LONG THE ADVISORY MAY LAST AT A GREENVILLE MAN WILL SPEND DECADES BEHIND BARS AFTER BEING CONVICTED OF MURDER. THE SOLICITOR’S OFFICE SAYS 26 YEAR OLD TYRESE ROBINSON WAS FOUND GUILTY ON MAY 31ST. HE WAS CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH A DEADLY SHOOTING BACK IN SEPTEMBER OF 2020. IT HAPPENED AT HIGHLAND SQUARE APARTMENTS. ROBINSON WAS SENTENCED TO 45 YEARS ON THE MURDER CHARGE AND FIVE MORE YEARS ON A FIREARMS CHARGE. 14 DEFENDANTS IN THE LAST INTERVIEW INVESTIGATION HAVE PLEADED GUILTY. THIS IS ACCORDING TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERAL, ALAN WILSON. IT’S IN CONNECTION WITH A DRUG TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION THAT WAS RUN BY INMATES IN THE UPSTATE, AS WELL AS BY WOMEN WHO FLED TO MEXICO. THEY SAY SOME OF THE WOMEN WERE RENTING AIRBNBS THROUGHOUT GREENVILLE, FROM WHICH THEY DEALT METHAMPHETAMINE. OFFICIALS SAY BETWEEN FEBRUARY 1ST, 2021 AND SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2023, LAW ENFORCEMENT SEIZED MORE THAN 27KG OF METH AND 39 GUNS IN THE INVESTIGATION FOR A LIST OF DEFENDANTS HIT TO WYFF 4.COM, AN UPSTATE WOMAN REMAINS HOSPITALIZED THIS MORNING AFTER BEING GORED BY A BISON IN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. THE 83 YEAR OLD WOMAN FROM GREENVILLE WAS ATTACKED NEAR THE STORM POINT TRAIL AT YELLOWSTONE LAKE ON SATURDAY. PARK OFFICIALS SAY THE BISON LIFTED HER ABOUT A FOOT OFF THE GROUND WITH ITS HORN. THEY SAY SHE WAS FLOWN TO A HOSPITAL IN IDAHO. PARK OFFICIALS SAID THE BISON WAS JUST DEFENDING ITS SPACE. THE ATTACK IS BEING INVESTIGATED. THE YELLOWSTONE REQUIRES PEOPLE TO KEEP AT LEAST 25 YARDS AWAY FROM ALL LARGE ANIMALS. AS BUSINESSES CONTINUE TO FLOCK TO THE UPSTATE AREA, A NEW TREND SEEMS TO BE EMERGING.       A South Carolina man was robbed at gunpoint after meeting a person on a Facebook Buy-Sell-Trade Group to sell a video gaming system, officials said Wednesday.(Video above is the Wednesday morning headlines for 6/5/24.)Jonathan Jabreal Robinson III, 30, of Seabrook, was found guilty by a Beaufort County General Sessions jury and sentenced to 22 years in prison for armed robbery, officials said.The Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office in Bluffton, South Carolina, said the crime happened on March 19, 2022."Unfortunately, arranging to make a sale in a public place was not enough to keep Mr. Robinson from robbing this victim or repeatedly threatening his life," said Samantha Molina of the 14th Circuit Solicitor's Office, who prosecuted the case.       Investigators also discovered evidence that Robinson attempted to sell some of the stolen items on Facebook, posting pictures of them taken in his bedroom. Robinson also was photographed at an electronic kiosk, where he sold the phone he stole from the victim.

      The clothes Robinson wore during the robbery were recovered from his bedroom, along with his identification and the gun he used in the robbery, which turned out to be a BB gun.
