TEXARKANA, Texas - A Texarkana man caught on video Tuesday crashing a mini four-wheeler into a Tesla in a business parking lot faces felony charges today.

Demarqeyun Cox
Demarqeyun Cox, 33, has been charged with felony criminal mischief and failure to identify. He's accused of ramming into at least three Teslas.
Surveillance footage from one of the cars caught Cox in the act.
The first report was from the Golden Palace restaurant parking lot on Summerhill Road. Surveillance footage from the car captured Cox intentionally ramming his four-wheeler into it at full speed.
The vehicle owner, Virita Carstaffin, says she was inside the restaurant having lunch when her phone alerted her to the damage. She expects to spend more than $1,000 to replace the front door. She doesn't know Cox.

Damage left to a Tesla by a man caught on camera ramming a mini four-wheeler into it.
Later in the day, an officer spotted Cox riding the mini four-wheeler near Summerhill and New Boston roads and recognized him as the suspect from the earlier video.
“They approached him. He gave a fake name, which they quickly determined who he was. Based on what they had seen in the video they knew for a fact that he was the one who at least hit the initial Tesla,” said Shawn Vaugh, Texarkana, Texas Police Department PIO.
Police believe Cox also damaged a Tesla parked at the Lowe’s on Walton Drive and another at Genesis Prime Care on College Drive.
Authorities say he used a sharp object to carve the name "Elon" on the side of those vehicles.
He's being held in the Bi-State Jail on a bond of $105,000.
