This latest termination of a Black female journalist is also the opportunity to urge Black people to use their viewing with intention. This was the launch of the #WeNeedJoy campaign, which would demonstrate the power of Black viewership by watching Joy's last show and then turning off the TV to indicate our intention to support Black journalists.
