Salem Police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting that damaged windows at the Salem Tesla dealership.
Police responded to reports of damaged windows at the dealership at about 5 a.m., according to spokesperson Angela Hedrick.
Officers found what appeared to be damage from gunshots, she said.
The dealership is located at 2755 Mission St. SE.
No arrests have been made and the incident remains an active investigation, Hedrick said.
Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are also investigating, she said.
The glass on the dealership's two front doors was gone and three other windows also had damage. The dealership appeared to be closed Wednesday, although a Tesla driver was able to use one of the charging stations.
Police had left the scene by about 12:30 p.m.
A suspected arson incident also occurred at the Tesla dealership last month. Police were investigating the fire, which was limited to one vehicle. No injuries were reported. A window of the building was also broken.
Hedrick said the FBI took over the investigation for that case in late January.
Tesla is an electric vehicle company owned by billionaire Elon Musk.
