Jelly Roll is suited up and ready to banjo.
The “Son of a Sinner” singer arrived at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Nov. 20 alongside his wife Bunnie XO in his first award show appearance since revealing he had reached his goal of losing 100 pounds.
To the event—hosted by Peyton Manning, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson—Jelly rocked an all-black suit. Meanwhile, Bunnie sported a long black gown, joking to E! News in an exclusive interview that she and the reigning New Artist of the Year champion are "the Addams family of country music."
"We wear black," she quipped of their red carpet wardrobe. "Black from head-to-toe everytime. It's not hard to match."
But the couple weren't alone, with Jelly's 15-year-old daughter Bailee Ann making her CMAs debut. "We're so excited," Bunnie gushed. "This is her first CMAs."
Once inside, Jelly and Bunnie were also spotted posing with CMAs winner Megan Moroney.
Jelly—who is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year at this year’s ceremony—wasn't just celebrating country music. He was also relishing in the hard work he has put into his health.
"I’m great, I'm down like 120 [pounds] now,” he revealed during a Nov. 7 appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “I've been kicking ass on this tour. We’re living, man. It’s been really cool to see the boys rally behind me.”
As for how the “Wild Ones” singer (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) has been able to find success in his health journey? His dietician Ian Larios provided a peek.
Earlier this month, Jelly—who is currently on his North American Beautifully Broken tour—shared his latest weight loss update.
“We just passed the halfway point of tour and Jelly has been crushing it,” Ian said in an Oct. 23 Instagram video, noting the singer makes sure to “walk in the arenas” before concerts and has taken up basketball and boxing to keep active.
Ian also detailed Jelly’s new high-protein diet, adding that when it comes to a pre-show sweet treat, Jelly loves a banana with manuka honey, stevia and dark chocolate.
