Karim Elsammak is a Brooklyn native running for the NYS Senate in the 22nd district. Karim is an international airline pilot by trade as well as a successful entrepreneur with broad business experience. The Karim4NY campaign is focusing heavily on public safety by being extremely critical of the Bail reform bill. In addition to safety, the campaign is focusing on support for small businesses impacted by covid, education enhancement with an emphasis on vocational and career based education, and the reduction of property tax within the district. Karim’s goal is to bridge the gap between parties and generations with a practical common sense approach. Support for law enforcement is also a major point for the campaign. The campaign slogan is “A new generation of leadership”.
  • Repealing bail reform is a vital first step in helping alleviate this major surge in crime.
  • Introducing technical, career based, and vocational education into all public schools will not only offer an alternative to college but will also keep our youth focused on their future while giving them the opportunity to explore other career paths prior to college.
  • Many of our local small businesses were brutally neglected during the covid-19 pandemic. Tax breaks and local programs are necessary to not only support our current struggling businesses but also make NY appealing to entrepreneurs. These breaks should be considered an investment in our economy and our city.
Public safety, education reform, support for law enforcement agencies, and support for small businesses.
