U.S. Senator Cory Booker will campaign in seven swing states between now and November 5, with stops in New Jersey during the final week of the 2024 campaign.
The popular New Jersey Democrat has been stumping for the Harris/Walz ticket and for Senate candidates as Democrats fight to retain their majority. “Cory Booker brought all of the energy, passion, love — and some mean selfie skills — to Michigan,” said Rep. Elissa Slotkin, a Democrat locked in a close U.S. Senate race, after Booker visited last month.
Booker plans stops in Arizona, Georgia, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He’s already been to most of those states this year.
He has also made campaign appearances in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
“Senator Booker continues to be one of the most sought-after surrogates for the Democratic Party, as his recent travel schedule illustrates,” said Mo Butler, Booker’s top New Jersey political advisor. “Whether it’s campaigning in Wisconsin for Vice President Harris or rallying up campaign volunteers in Michigan for Senate candidate Slotkin, or joining New Jersey congressional candidate Sue Altman for campaign events this past weekend, he remains committed to doing his part to make sure our party is victorious in November.”
Booker’s current schedule has him back in New Jersey for the final week, but that’s subject to change if Democrats need him back in battleground states.
