REVEALED: Target has been funding woke group that wants to close 'symbol of white supremacy' Mount Rushmore, demilitarize the US military and impose sanctions on Israel
- Target funded the NDN Collective in 2022, an Indigenous-led organization, calling for Mount Rushmore to be closed and returned to the Lakota people
- Their diversity program has been ramped up with new chief Kiera Fernandez
- Target's share prices has tumbled in recent weeks, amid widespread backlash to its Pride display, which included 'tuck-friendly' women's swimwear
Target has been funding a group that wants to shut down Mount Rushmore, believing it to be an 'international symbol of White supremacy', and demilitarize the 'violent' U.S. military.
The retail giant ramped up its diversity program in recent years under chief Kiera Fernandez, who previously called on 'White women' to battle systemic racism.
Now, Fox News Digital has reported that according to its 2021 tax filing, Target's nonprofit foundation funded the NDN Collective in 2022, which is an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to building Indigenous power, according to their website.
The NDN Collective is calling for the sovereign land where Mount Rushmore is located to be returned to the Lakota people.
It comes after Target's share prices tumbled in recent weeks, amid widespread backlash to its Pride display, which included 'tuck-friendly' women's swimwear.

The NDN Collective's calls for the return of public land, supports Israel opening to those who identify as Palestinian refugees, and reportedly maintains 'hostile views' on the military, as they see to have the United States 'demilitarized.'
'The closure of Mount Rushmore, return of that land and all public lands in the Black Hills, South Dakota is our cornerstone battle,' NDN said of its campaign LANDBACK.
'Not only does Mount Rushmore sit in the heart of the sacred Black Hills, but it is an international symbol of White supremacy and colonization. To truly dismantle white supremacy and systems of oppression, we have to go back to the roots. Which, for us, is putting Indigenous Lands back in Indigenous hands.'
As for the U.S. military, the NDN has said that 'violence is fundamental for the U.S. to maintain its presence.'

Target ramped up its diversity program with new chief, Kiera Fernandez, who previously said 'White women' should get to work to battle systemic racism
'[T]he U.S. military is in the explicit business of taking land away from communities all around the world and using their presence on their land to carry out their own agenda for the inhabitants of that area,' it said.
'Violence is fundamental for the U.S. to maintain its presence, and the military is how they establish dominance domestically and internationally, wherever they may be.'
The NDN added: 'The purpose of these informal militias however was not to keep the police or protect citizens, but to clear the land of as many Natives as possible by killing indiscriminately, and catching runaway enslaved Africans.'
Target has also funded other organizations, Fox News Digital discovered, including the YWCA Minneapolis, which reportedly gives 'anti-racist' advice that White kids should be raised to see race in order to understand 'systemic racism.'
Another organization is the YWCA in St. Paul and the National Urban League, which advocates for federal laws restricting the Second Amendment as well as 'alternatives to policing.'
Conservatives and moderates alike have been boycotting Target since it was revealed last month that the retailer was selling clothes with LGBTQ-friendly slogans like 'Trans People Will Always Exist!', 'gay', and 'Live Laugh Lesbian.'
Some have accused the chain of grooming children, pointing to a tweet that purports to show a 'tuck-friendly' girls' bathing suit with 'extra crotch coverage.'
Several stores in the rural South have now reportedly hidden and toned down the Pride sections, and staff members at Target headquarters are said to have held an 'emergency' meeting to avoid what one insider called a 'Bud Light situation.'
In a statement last month, Target - led by CEO Brian Cornell - announced the company had pulled some items it had received complains about, specifying that they have 'been at the center of the most confrontational behavior.'

Target and Bud Light recently came under fire for their efforts to appeal to the LGBTQ+ community, only to come under more fire when they tried to backpedal.
Six weeks earlier, transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney revealed on social media that Bud Light had sent her a commemorative can emblazoned with her picture. Boycott threats immediately followed, fueled by conservative commentators such as Matt Walsh, who has 1.9 million Twitter followers.
Kohl's, Lego and Southwest Airlines also have taken heat for their LGBTQ-friendly marketing in recent days.
The backlash has produced real consequences. In the month ending May 13, Bud Light's U.S. sales were down 23 percent, according to Bump Williams Consulting.
Target's shares have plunged 20 percent since mid-May, wiping away $15 billion in market value, although that's partly due to investor concerns about inflation's impact on shoppers.
