On 07/15/24, Officers were investigating Joel Quintana-Dominguez for a sexual assault of a minor. Detectives gathered evidence and were able to determine that this had occurred multiple times in Shelby Township.
It appeared he may have been tipped off and was packing up to flee the Country. Quintana-Dominguez was located in a mobile home community in Macomb County.
Officers and detectives were able to locate and arrest the suspect on the alleged sexual assault complaint.
Detectives were notified that he had entered the Country illegally and had previously been deported.
On July 19th Joel Quintana-Dominguez was arraigned at 41-A District court in Shelby Township by Magistrate Verploeg he was arraigned on 3 charges of Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st degree. Bond was set at $500,000 bond Cash/Surety.
“I am disgusted and sickened after hearing the details of this case on what Quintana-Dominguez is being charged with. I am also appalled to hear that he had been deported in the past and was able to find his way back into the United States. These types of actions from illegal aliens are harming the Country.
