(WBFF) — The alleged killer of Rachel Morin has waived his right to extradition.
Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez has waived his right to extradition, according to the Tulsa District Attorney’s Office.
Martinez-Hernandez did so during a hearing held today at 11:30 a.m., the Tulsa District Attorney’s Office said.
Harford County has until July 2 to bring Martinez-Hernandez back to Maryland.
The Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed they will be bringing him back in the coming days.
Harford County State’s Attorney Alison Healey said she plans to prosecute the case herself.
Martinez-Hernandez was arrested on Friday in Tulsa and has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape.
Morin was found dead near a hiking trail in August 2023.
