Pair of former Penn State football players facing felony charges of rape, sex crimes

Former Penn State defenders Jameial J. Lyons and Kaveion A. Keys are facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, according to court dockets filed Tuesday. Lyons and Keys were dismissed from the Penn State football team on Aug. 3.

Lyons, 19, of Philadelphia, is facing felony charges for rape, aggravated assault without consent, voluntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated individual assault without consent. He is also facing two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault without consent of others and invasion of privacy without consent.
