Bernie Sanders founded Our Revolution in 2016 with the mission to build power from the bottom on up. Since then, our grassroots army and voter mobilization machine have helped elect more than 1,000 progressives up and down the ballot.

What makes Our Revolution stand apart is our commitment to the local races that often get ignored, but which create the infrastructure of power at the level of government closest to people’s lives. We are building out progressive cities in places like Pittsburgh, Chicago, and even smaller towns like Hilliard, Ohio.

For example, in St. Louis, Our Revolution candidates took a supermajority in the city and are now advancing housing justice and worker rights. With OR Board Member Megan Green at the helm of the city board of alderman, this is our inside-outside strategy in action.
