Tennessee native Morgan Wallen donates $500K to Helene flooding victims

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Country star and East Tennessee native Morgan Wallen is stepping in to help victims impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Wallen donated a whopping $500,000 to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts in the aftermath of the catastrophic flooding that has left six people deadin East Tennessee and more than 100 others missing.
The donation will directly help Tennesseans hurting from Helene, the American Red Cross tells the Morgan Wallen Foundation.
“We can’t thank Morgan Wallen enough for his heart and generous $500,000 donation to impact help on the ground now in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene, including his beloved East Tennessee,” Red Cross’ National President for Humanitarian Services, Trevor Riggin, shared of his Morgan Wallen Foundation donation.
The Morgan Wallen Foundation aims to support youth in sports and music while also stepping in to help communities in times of crisis.
