The United Coast Guard Southeast Division rescued a man and their dog from a sailboat off the coast off of Florida's Sanibel Island Thursday afternoon.The Coast Guard says the man's 36-foot sailboat became disabled and started taking on water around 3 p.m.USCG says the man and his dog are safe.It was not immediately clear why the man was out on the water. Small craft and hurricane advisories had been issued as Helene approached the area.
