Illegal Immigration from Venezuela

In Texas-based sectors, US Border Patrol has apprehended approximately half a million migrants
from Venezuela who entered the country illegally from January 1, 2020 – September 3, 2024.
Nearly 400,000 of this total were apprehended during CY 2022 and CY 2023.

Apprehension figures are based on Operation Border Star reporting and are preliminary, unofficial, and subject
to change. Texas-based sectors include the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Del Rio, Big Bend, and El Paso Sectors.
The El Paso Sector covers a portion of Texas and the state of New Mexico.

‒ Stars on shoulder to indicate rank.


‒ Crowns (similar to Latin Kings).
‒ Firearms and grenades.
‒ Trains and dice.
‒ Roses and predatory felines,
including tigers and jaguars.

• Phrases:

‒ “Real Hasta la Muerte”


(“Till Death”).
‒ “Hijos de Dios” / “HJ”
(“Sons of God”).
