TELL YOU WHAT, IF YOU’RE BRUSHING YOUR TEETH OR YOU’RE EATING YOUR BREAKFAST, COME ON OVER TO THE TV SCREEN. JUST TAKE A QUICK LOOK. TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW INTO THE UPPER 50S ACROSS THE VALLEY. WE’RE HEADING FOR THE UPPER 60S BY 9:00 IN THE MORNING. AND THEN EVENTUALLY DAYTIME HIGHS WILL PULL IN A LITTLE BIT WARMER THAN YESTERDAY. MOST OF YOU MAKING IT INTO THE UPPER 80S TO LOW 90S FOR THE DAYTIME HIGHS. FROZEN CAMERA VIEW HERE. AS WE LOOK OVER INTERSTATE 80 AND INTO COLFAX. GOOD MORNING. IN THE FOOTHILLS. YOU’RE OUT THE DOOR TO THE UPPER 50S RIGHT NOW. WINDS WILL STAY CALM FOR THE AFTERNOON. SUNSHINE WILL REIGN SUPREME AND DAYTIME HIGHS. WE’LL GET INTO THE MID 80S AND IN THE SIERRA PLANNER. TEMPERATURES ARE QUITE COLD. WE WILL SEE BRIGHT SUNSHINE FOR THE DAY AHEAD, BUT WE’RE AT FREEZING RIGHT NOW. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL FINISH OUT INTO THE LOW TO MID 70S FOR THE AFTERNOON.
