LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
John McAllister, an inmate at the Williams Correctional Facility in Pine Bluff who was featured on a recent Netflix docuseries filmed inside the Pulaski County Jail, died Sunday morning at the age of 29.

McAllister, known as "Eastside", was serving a three-year sentence after being convicted of ten felony counts related to drugs, breaking and entering, theft of property, and firearms possession.
McAllister was recently seen in the hit Netflix documentary seriesUnlocked: A Jail Experiment.

After being found unresponsive in his bunk, he was transported by ambulance to Jefferson Regional Medial Center.

McAllister was pronounced dead at 8:50 a.m. Sunday. No foul play or suicide is suspected.
