Mike Tyson-Jake Paul press conference takes sexual turn: ‘I had an erection’

Things got weird at a Mike Tyson-Jake Paul pre-fight press conference on Thursday.

The fighters exchanged barbs on stage in Arlington, Texas, in a preview of their July 20 match at AT&T Stadium, but the atmosphere took a turn when Paul tried to get a laugh out of the crowd.

“I wanna kiss Mike’s big juicy lips,” Paul said during the face-off.

An amused Tyson took it a step further.

“That’s so ironic that he said that,” Tyson replied. “Because I saw a picture of him dancing at 16, doing a little dance on YouTube. And for some reason, I had an erection.”

The pair would later go back and forth about their upcoming fight, with Tyson chiding Paul about his fighting career.

“He couldn’t even knock out [Nate] Diaz,” Tyson said. “Diaz is 40 pounds. He’s going to knock me out? Anderson Silva. He couldn’t even knock out the little guys, how’s he going to knock me out? […] He never knocked out a real man, come on. He didn’t knock out Tommy Fury. I’m going to f–k Jake up.”

“I can’t stand here and say I did those things,” Paul replied. “But what I promise to the people on July 20th: Mike will be put to sleep and he will feel my power. I will go down as the man who put Tyson to sleep for the last time.”

The bizarre scene was just the latest twist in the high-profile build-up to the fight, which will be streamed on Netflix

Tyson last fought in an official event on June 11, 2005, which ended with a loss to Kevin McBride.

The soon-to-be 58-year-old reportedly gave up marijuana and sex to train for the July bout, which apparently has left his mind wandering.

The 27-year-old Paul is 9-1 in 10 career fights, with his most recent win coming against boxer Ryan Bourland on March 2.

He is 2-1 against boxers, with his only career loss coming against Tommy Fury.

The YouTube star-turned-fighter has repeatedly trash-talked the legendary boxer as they prepare to enter the ring, at one point referencing Tyson’s infamous 1997 ear-biting incident

“He can’t bite my ear off if I knock his teeth out,” Paul told Fox News’ Jesse Watters in April.
