Kara Davis began her journey as a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher in Saline Area Schools.  Across her twenty years in that space, Kara learned alongside middle level readers, writers and thinkers who continually reminded her that true learning happens at the intersection of rigor, relevancy, and joy.  Kara is serving as the District Teaching & Learning Team Lead and is part of the Central Administration Team.   In this role, she partners with teachers, students, and administrators to help Saline continue to strengthen its collective vision of educational equity and deepen implementation of the Saline Area Schools Graduate Profile.  Throughout her career, Kara has been a department chair, a district staff developer, a Macul presenter, and a next gen pilot classroom teacher ... No matter which hat she is wearing, she is passionate about co-learning with adults and students, alike, to continue grow her own understandings and craft while supporting teachers in this work as well.
