Clark County Fire grants Heroism Award after officers save woman from apartment fire

Three officers are receiving a big honor aftersaving a woman from an apartment fire in December.

The Clark County Fire Department granted the Citizen Heroism Award to Officer Marcolini, Officer Manzanedo, and Officer Silva fromLVMPD’s South Central Area Command for their rescue efforts.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department posted the body cam footage on X on Thursday:

According to the post, the officers were just finishing their shift when they saw a cloud of smoke nearby.

They raced to the scene near Reno and Tamarus and saw fire coming from a second-floor apartment with a woman trapped on the ledge.

Small explosions were heard going off as officers grabbed a dumpster to help the woman get down.

The woman was taken to the hospital and the officers were unharmed.
