American journalist Tucker Carlson was in Moscow earlier in February 2024 for an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin and according to Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the interview occurred on February 6. A new report claims that a native Russian has been arrested for the attempted assassination of Tucker Carlson. A Russian native, Vasiliev Pyotr Alexeieovich, revealed the plot against Carlson. He said that Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence offered to pay him $4,000 for the task. Alexeievich claims that initially, he was unaware of the target, but now he knows it was 'Tucker Carlson'.
