Jenna Ortega, 21, and Martin Freeman, 52, sex scene in ‘Miller’s Girl’ branded ‘so gross’: ‘Hobbits age differently’

A sex scene between Jenna Ortega, 21, and Martin Freeman, 52, is making waves online.

The “Wednesday” actress and the “Hobbit” actor co-star in “Miller’s Girl,” a black comedy-drama (currently in theaters) where Ortega plays Cairo Sweet, an 18-year-old student, and Freeman plays her teacher. 

They get ensnared in an inappropriate relationship after she plans to seduce him — which viewers are slamming.

“MARTIN FREEMAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO JENNA ORTEGA,” one fan posted on X, formerly Twitter. 

“Just saw a thread of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) groping Jenna Ortega in new show, strange times,” another proclaimed. 

“Wait… Jenna Ortega… Martin Freeman?? THIS MARTIN FREEMAN???? LESTER F – – KING NYGAARD FROM FARGO??? WHAT!?!?!?! OH NO….” another wrote.

“That jenna ortega martin freeman clip might b the worst thing i’ve ever seen,” another fan complained. 

“This Jenna Ortega/Martin Freeman film is so gross! So, so, so, so gross!” another said. 

Freeman’ plays Jonathan Miller, a failed writer who is now teaching — and risking his marriage and job to help Cairo. 

The LA Times called the film “camp,” and “completely divorced from any kind of recognizable reality,” while Variety called it “disappointingly predictable.”

This is just the latest scandal for Ortega, who also recently dropped out of “Scream VII” (seemingly unrelated to the firing of co-star Melissa Barrera). 

Ortega also drew criticism for appearing on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast to say that her behavior at work was “unprofessional.” 

“There were times on that set where I even became almost unprofessional in a sense where I just started changing lines,” Ortega said, which drew comments that she was “entitled.”

After that backlash, Ortega doubled down on her comments to the Hollywood Reporter. 

“I know what it’s like to be a people-pleaser in this industry, and I know how unhappy or how frustrating it’s been in the past,” she said. 

“When I went into ‘Wednesday,’ I really put my foot down and made it clear that everything that I had to say mattered and was heard.”

Ultimately, some “Miller’s Girl” viewers weren’t as disturbed by Ortega’s scenes with Freeman.

“Everyone is freakin out abt [sic] this movie ‘Miller’s Girl’ because of the age difference,” one person wrote on X.

“But really, Hobbits age differently than us. For every one year of our life, that equals three of theirs. So, in reality, Martin Freeman is only like 17 1/2. Jenna Ortega is the cradle robber.”
