Multiple agencies responded to a gas pipeline explosion in the Oklahoma panhandle.

It happened before 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at NS 154 Rd and EW 29 Rd in Beaver County.

The scene is between Midway Church and Darrouzett, Texas.

According to Beaver County Emergency Management, nine departments responded to the explosion.

They were able to get it under control around 3 a.m.

Gas is still flowing, but lines to the pipeline have been closed off.

The pipeline is owned by DCP Midstream, which is closely monitoring the situation.

According to the Booker Fire Department, flames were soaring 500-feet into the air, burning highlines and affecting power.

Since then, Northwest Electric has restored electricity.

The flames were large enough to be picked up on satellite.

Beaver County Emergency Management said there were no injuries and the damage was minimal.

Crews staged a "safe distance" away until the gas could be turned off.
