Harlem showed up — and we showed out. On Tuesday, June 24, Goodr joined forces with the NBA and Evernorth Health Services to bring a special edition of our Pop-Up Grocery Market to Kingdome Park as part of the NBA’s Total Health initiative. This was more than an event, it was our first-ever activation in New York City. In a neighborhood where 1-in-4 residents face food insecurity, we served 865 families with fresh produce, proteins, and shelf-stable groceries, providing each household a full week’s worth of food. That’s an estimated 72,660 meals delivered directly to the Harlem community. No lines. No boxes. Just access, dignity, and choice, right in the heart of the neighborhood. Even in the heat of summer, the community came out strong. Families told us they’d never experienced anything like this before. And that’s exactly why we do this work. We’re grateful to our partners at National Basketball Association (NBA) Cares and Evernorth Health Services for believing in Goodr’s mission to eliminate food waste and end hunger . From #Atlanta to Harlem… we’re just getting started. #DoGoodr #FoodAccess #NBACares #SocialImpact #HungerRelief #DignityInAccess #CommunityPowered #Harlem #givingback #communitystrong
