The Comedy Cellar: Live from the Table

For 30 years, New York's legendary Comedy Cellar has served as the launching pad for greatest stand up comedians in the world. Colin Quinn, Dave Chappelle, Ray Romano, Dave Attell, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Dane Cook, Robert Kelly and Greg Giraldo are just a few of the comedians who began as Cellar regulars. But classic stage performances have never been the only show going on at the Cellar. The biggest comedians in the world come to sit at the table upstairs, where comedians come to argue and discuss the events of the day and their lives, sharpening their their comedy knives on each other. This kibitzing (an inspiration for Comedy Central's Tough Crowd), has always been a private affair... until now. Join us for a weekly peek into the happenings at the Comedy Cellar's comedian table, where the funniest people in the world debate and discuss. Subscribe now and don't miss a second of it. We would love to hear your comments. Email them to podcast@comedycellar.com
Balanced and well reasoned

I don’t know. I’m clearly has a position in many of his discussions perhaps all of them, there are a few podcasts where hear someone be some intellectually, honest and rigorous, and trying to hear both sides of an issue. He’s very refreshing in his approach, enjoyable to listen.
Warhawks and anti-truthers. At the comedy cellar?

So the comedy cellar podcast is now an Israel propaganda machine? This is absurd. Dan gives an honest attempt at thoughtful discussion, but Noam… my god. His idiotic indoctrinated opinions show is lack of honest critical thinking. Don’t waste your time with this one.
Thank you

Who knew a comedy podcast could single-handedly take charge of examining reality, aka searching for truth. Changing an old review to offer deep gratitude for your rare, serious (!), painstakingly thoughtful effort to correct the lies and massive imbalance of information out there on Israel and the Jewish people, and to do your level best to get it right with nuance and care. At last you’ve had on a number of serious interlocutors, not the know-nothing propagandists who make a career off spin and selling antisemitism to the ignorant and gullible.
Huge spectrum of perspectives

Some people are complaining because the guest opinions they heard hurt their ears. Yes that’s the point. Noam Dworman brings on guests for and against things he disagrees with and models civil debate. In this perspective, I wish I had his skills. When he right and informed about an issue, he manages to demonstrate it so well and methodically, but also kindly to his guest. I really feel like this is one of the few podcasts that are capable of actually changing opinions.
