A man wildly screamed out for help before stabbing a woman in the neck Tuesday at Clark College in what may have been the man’s second random attack in two days, police said.
Vancouver police officers say the woman was sitting outside the Archer Gallery, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, when a man in a green ballcap, collared shirt and brown pants attacked her.
The man was last seen running north toward Fourth Plain Boulevard. The woman was treated for a non-life-threatening wound at a local hospital, police said.
Officers believe the same man approached a woman sitting in her car in one of the college’s parking lots Monday and tried to talk to her. The woman cracked the door and the man grabbed the handle and tried to enter the car, police said, but ran off once the woman screamed.
School security officers investigated the initial incident but couldn’t find the man.
Officers released photos of the man Wednesday and are seeking his identity.
