(STACKER) — In March, the greatest number of refugees admitted by the U.S. came from the Congo, Afghanistan and Myanmar. How many of those refugees came to the state of Virginia?

During the month of March, a total of 139 refugees entered Virginia, according to data from the Refugee Processing Center. About a third of them — 55 in total — came from Afghanistan and 40 came from the Congo.

On the whole, the states that received the most refugees in March were Texas, California, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.
