SITUATION. WELL, ABBY, IT’S STILL NOT CLEAR YET HOW FIVE PEOPLE IN A HOME BEHIND ME ENDED UP DEAD. BUT POLICE SAY THEY ARE LOOKING FOR THOSE ANSWERS NOW. NEIGHBORS HAVE BEEN OUT HERE WATCHING THIS UNFOLD THIS WHOLE DAY. ONE EVEN TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED. IN A HOUSE TWO NO LESS, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING AFTER FINDING FIVE PEOPLE DEAD INSIDE A HOME NEAR SOUTHWEST 29TH STREET AND SOUTH CZECH HALL ROAD MONDAY MORNING. NEIGHBORS SAY THEY WERE STUNNED TO HEAR THE NEWS. IT MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT KIND OF YOU KNOW, ACTIVITY HAPPENED IN THAT HOUSE, MUSTANG PUBLIC SCHOOLS CONFIRMED TO US. TWO OF THE VICTIMS WERE THEIR STUDENTS AND ANOTHER HAD JUST GRADUATED FROM THE DISTRICT’S. THEY SAY WE ARE SHOCKED AND OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN. THIS TRAGEDY SIMPLY DEFIES UNDERSTANDING. A NEARBY NEIGHBOR TELLS ME IT’S DEVASTATING TO HEAR ABOUT THOSE CHILDREN. I KIND OF SORT OF HITS, UH, CLOSE TO HOME. IT’S NEVER GOOD TO HEAR ABOUT, YOU KNOW, THAT KIND OF THING HAPPENING TO YOUNG CHILD. AND WE KNOW PEOPLE WANT ANSWERS. THERE ARE A LOT OF QUESTIONS WE STILL DON’T KNOW IDENTITIES OR HOW THESE PEOPLE DIED. POLICE SAY THEY HAD TO WAIT FOR A WARRANT BEFORE THEY COULD EVEN START INVESTIGATING, AND THEY HAVEN’T TOLD US IF THEY GOT THAT WARRANT. BUT I HAVE SEEN INVESTIGATORS GOING IN AND OUT OF A PROPERTY TO TODAY. NOW, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE TELL US THEY EXPECT TO GIVE US SOME ANSWER

Mustang Public Schools confirmed that two of the victims were students in the district, and another had graduated from the district in 2023."That kind of sort of hits close to home," Felix said. The loss lives, including those of children, left the community reeling."It's never good to hear about that kind of thing happening to a young child," Felix said. As the investigation continues, Oklahoma City police are expected to release more information on the incident Tuesday morning. "That's mind-blowing. In a house too no less," said Edgar Felix, a neighbor.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the incident that happened near Southwest 29th Street and South Czech Road, where the shocking discovery was made on Monday morning.
