I met Mark and Jameson babysitting through BCS Sitters. Recently, I learned Mark’s story through another little girl that I babysit for that was friends with him, and I realized this was the same little boy I knew. Though Mark and I only crossed paths a few times, I felt compelled to express my sincere condolences. As I read more into Mark’s journey and fight, I am so honored that I was able to meet him. It was so clear from those numbered times that I watched the boys that Mark was truly a sweet soul. I especially remember the bond he and his brother shared and the contagious laughs that always filled the house when they were together. Mark was always quick to lend a helping hand and was so sweet, respectful, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable in his house. Mark’s story truly touches my heart and makes me realize how important it is to be intentional with everyone you come across, even if just for a limited time. God had a plan for Mark from the beginning, and I know he has a plan for everyone he left behind as well. I am praying for comfort in the future for his family, friends, and everyone impacted. I am truly so sorry, but I will always remember his story and approach people with the kindness he always showed me. Lamentations 3:32 💙🧡
