A south Florida woman was shocked to find a giant alligator walking in the middle of her home.Mary Hollenback says she first heard a strange rattling noise through her screen door, and by the time she got up, the gator was already inside.Hollenback says to her disbelief, the gator walked down her hallway and made its way into the kitchen.That's when she called 911."I tried to sound coherent, basically told him I have a alligator in my house he was doing the paperwork and getting the paper. He said 'how long is the alligator' — I said, 8 feet," she said.Florida Fish and Wildlife, along with Sarasota County deputies, eventually took the gator out of the home.It measured out to be 7 feet and 11 inches.
