Man shot and killed outside Center Point restaurant after threatening customers

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death after a shooting at a Center Point restaurant early Sunday morning.
Around 1:30 a.m., deputies were called to the business in the 2200 block of Center Point Parkway on a report that a person was threatening to shoot customers in the parking lot.
Investigators say that before deputies arrived, the man making the threats got into an altercation with one of the customers.
That's when the customer shot the man and then left the scene, according to deputies.
The 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified on Monday as Cristall Terrell Hereford of Huntsville.
