ANKARA -- Turkey's energy and natural resources minister told reporters from foreign media on Thursday that Turkey is in the final stages of completing its second nuclear energy deal with China. The country is preparing to generate its first nuclear-powered electricity next year through a plant being constructed by Russia.
If an agreement is reached, it will symbolize NATO member Turkey's all-directional friendships, even during a period of intensified U.S.-China rivalry.
