Siblings Skyler Lee, Jaylon and Jazlyn Flanigan got a huge surprise Friday when they were reunited with their father who had been deployed for two years.

Cullman County Schools said U.S. Army SFC Kelvin Lee recently arrived home on leave from overseas.

Lee visited Hanceville Elementary School to surprise his youngest daughter as a "special reader" for her fifth grade class. He was met with tears of joy from Skyler and lots of hugs.

Then he was off to appear as the "guest of honor" at the Hanceville High School pep rally to meet his older children Jaylon and Jazlyn Flanigan.

"It's a better feeling than I thought. I thought I was just gonna come back and everything was gonna be the same, but the emotions are there. I'm just happy to be here," said Lee. "Trust me, I'm really using this to make sure I do retire in this next year and come home to them."

Lee said he has been stationed in Georgia, Texas, Hawaii, Korea, and currently in Kuwait.
