LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police said officers have arrested the man accused of leaving a woman chained to the floor of a home near the Park Hill neighborhood.
Police said LMPD's Fugitive and the 2nd Division arrested 36-year-old Moises May. There was no force necessary and they were able to get him as he was being dropped off at the house, according to police.
LMPD said May faces several charges, including kidnapping. According to an arrest citation, those other charges include intimidating a participant in the legal process, wanton endangerment, two counts of assault, terroristic threatening and harassment.

Jonna Wilson, 37, shared her story of survival with WDRB News on Thursday. She was rescued by police and firefighters Wednesday, Aug. 16, inside a home near the Park Hill and Algonquin neighborhoods off Dixie Highway.
Wilson told WDRB News that May, whom she shares a child with, cut her hair off with a machete, made her strip naked and put a chain around her neck, telling her he was going to kill her when he got back to the house they once shared.
LMPD said Thursday when they found Wilson, the chain around her neck was bolted to the floor with screws and secured with a MasterLock. The front door of the home was also barricaded. Wilson said May had screwed every door shut, bolted every window and had the key to get inside and outside.
Officers and firefighters had to use a ladder to get to Wilson on the second floor, and used bolt cutters to free her from the chains.
According to May's arrest report, Wilson and May had gotten into an argument Monday when things became physical. May held Wilson down on the floor while he used a machete to cut off "a majority" of her hair and slapped her before she was able to leave. Wednesday, Wilson returned to the home to get some of her belongings. That's when police said May locked the doors with a deadbolt that only he had a key to.
The arrest report also states May forced Wilson to take off some of her clothing, and said "You're gonna get it tonight. I told you the next time you leave and don't come home I'd kill you" before slapping her. That's when he took her upstairs and chained her to the floor before leaving the house, taking Wilson's phone with him.
"By leaving the victim chained up in the house with no way of calling for help or leaving, the defendant manifested an extreme indifference to the value of human life by engaging in conduct that created a risk of serious physical injury or death to the victim," the report goes on.
Wilson was able to bust open a window and scream for help. Neighbors heard her screaming and called 911. Police said Wilson was injured by the chain around her neck, and had scratches from busting out the second-story window.
Police and firefighters rescued her, and it was caught on video.
WDRB met with Wilson again on Friday afternoon and she said police are helping her. She said she's been given one outfit after May burned all of her clothes.
