Police in Newport Beach, California, were called to a home reportedly belonging to Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, a former star of TV’s "Real Housewives of Orange County," on Tuesday night over an alleged "felony crime," reports say.
Three suspects had barricaded themselves inside the home and were eventually arrested, the Los Angeles Times reported.
One of the suspects is "believed to be an ex-boyfriend of Vargas," TMZ reports.
The former reality star was not harmed and was not taken hostage during the ordeal, according to TMZ.
The incident started around 1:50 p.m., with police making it public around 5 p.m. via a Nixle alert to residents in the area. "The Newport Beach Police Department is currently involved in police activity in the area of Balboa Blvd W and Medina Way. Please avoid the area until further notice," the alert reads.

The first suspect was taken into custody about 7:40 p.m., with police SWAT personnel apprehending the other two suspects soon after, the Times reported.

The exact nature of the alleged crime was not clear, according to the newspaper.
Property records said the home belonged to Vargas but Heather Rangel, a spokeswoman for the Newport Beach police, did not confirm that information, according to the Times.
Vargas joined Season 15 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" in 2020. Last year it was announced that Vargas and castmates Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke would not be returning for the next season.

The alleged home incident at the former TV housewife's home comes amid a reported uptick of home invasions in Los Angeles in recent months.
In October, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kensley was held at gunpoint by three burglars at her Encino Hills house in California. Kemsley's two children – 7-year-old son Jagger and 5-year-old daughter Phoenix – were inside. No one was harmed.
Vargas did not immediately return Fox News' request for comment.
